A milestone!
The application for planning permission for Stiklestad towards the next 100 years has been submitted to Verdal Municipality.

HZA gathered for an AI workshop with Nitzan Bartov, PhD Fellow from Henning Larsen’s Copenhagen office.

Kongens gate in Skien is now officialy completed . HZA designed the bus stop as part of the new street, developed by Dronninga Landskap.

Our first circular house pilot is under construction in Brekstad, marking an important step in the development of the Sirkbo project together with Norgeshus. https://www.sirkbo.no/

HZA is proud to be featured in the newly published book  Norwegian Architecture 1980–2025 by Ulf Grønvold . HZA is featured with two projects,  U31 and  Fireplace for Children .The publication presents key works that have defined Norwegian architecture from 1980 to today, highlighting the breadth and quality of contemporary architectural practice .

With the project Sanket, we aim for the schoolchildren to take part in gathering wool, clay, wood, and stone from the school’s surroundings, and to work these materials into artistic forms.

We’re pleased to share that the building permit for Christian Krohgs Gate 2 has been approved.The project involves the transformation of an old factory into new spaces that bring renewed life to the building and its surroundings.Exciting progress ahead!

The HZA team travelled to Venice for this year’s study trip, visiting the 19th International Architecture Exhibition Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective , and gathering inspiration from the pavilions and exhibitions for our ongoing work

HZA is taking part in the  Bygg Reis Deg  construction fair in Lillestrøm, showcasing our collaboration within the SirkTre Consortium  and our project  Sirkbo.no .

TREKANTTOMTEN: The plan proposal for Trekanttomten in Aker Brygge, Oslo, has been submitted for final approval. Exciting times ahead!

Marit is part of the exhibition  ART·HAND·WORK , on view from  19 September 2025 to 1 February 2026, presenting her work  COAL .
